How big is that airtank compared to a 4b's tank? If it's as big as ir is in the picture... I love you!
ReplyDeleteyou know where i might be able to get my hands on one of these?
ReplyDeletesoloz1,
ReplyDeleteIts air tank volume works out to be similiar to a 4B air tank (even with the pump nested inside it), but the way it stores and releases the air is different.
I've already re-barreled it with PETG barrels and rear loading slots, check out the mod guide:

nater tater,
ReplyDeleteI ordered it from Taobao.com (an online shopping portal in China).
Hey, as someone on nh reviewed it and said the tank is soft plastic and is not strong, im worried it might blow apart. Looking at the assembly it seems simple and relatively easy to find a right piece of pvc, cut off the screw threads on the original tank epoxy/solvent weld everything together? And perhaps install an oprv while I'm at it. Where should I find one that would huhkick in at, say, 7 pumps? Thanks! :)
DeleteAloy,
ReplyDeleteFor the OPRV, you could use adjustable safety valves, though you'd have to somehow link it to the air tank to work.
You can see an example of an adjustable safety valve in my air tank blasters modding systems guide:

I get my components from pneumatic equipment supply companies.
